Balestrino is a small medieval village in the province of Savona counting just under 600 inhabitants and divided into 4 main areas:
- the original village where the Balestrino Castle is located and surrounded by old abandoned village. Here you will find a restaurant and the café and serving excellent local products and homemade pastries;
- Poggio, where most of the services are located: a minimarket, the pharmacy, the church and two other restaurants;
- Cuneo and Bergalla are two residential areas;
The Belbea Tourist Resort residence is located 2 km past Bergalla, immersed in nature and surrounded by various species of wild animals typical of the area, overlooking the valley, Balestrino and the sea. In the surroundings you will find various restaurants and pizzerias.
In the residence we do not sell products, almost everything you need (not just food) is available at the minimarket: from newspapers to fresh and locally grown fruits and vegetables. Larger supermarkets and other services can be found in Toirano, Borghetto Santo Spirito and Loano.
